I have seen the spec for a home made map clamp floating arounf the web, but the link I had for it is now dead. Anyone else have 'em?

The last two are the ones I was looking for. Much grass amigo.

Might wire one up tonight, I think I have all those components laying around

that vw idea looks kinda interesting... almost like 2 clamps, you just switch between the 2... maybe a pump gas tune, then a race gas tune??? :sneaky:

Yeah, I have been looking at something along those lines. I would like to do the cavgt 2 stage BC setup, and have the MAP clamp only go active on the second stage, so that daily driving or when the system isn't "armed" I still have a safety in case I get a bad batch of gas or something. I know what detonation is, but the wife doesn't, and she put 87 octane in once:furious3:

They are, I just wanted to get the specs instead of doing the math and figuring it out myself. I am lazy like that. :thumb:

that is a simple setup i didnt realize that a clamp was so easy to make ...as a matter of fact we stock all those components at my work...we have 1k,5k,and 10k pots and the diodes are considered bench clutter..what is the biggest advantage of running this type clamp?...it says high boost eliminator but that doesn't quite do it for me ...i might be over my head on this one but i would still like to know the low down:thumb:

The advantage is alot if tuned properly with a wideband....

I went from a 13.8@100.65mph (2.29 '60ft, might as well be a 2.3)
(3" tbe, k&n filter, agp wga)

to a

13.4@106.50 (2.3 '60ft) with just mopar stage 1 & a mapclamp as an addition :thumb:

holy shit man you need tires...i ran a 2.28sec. 60ft all stock on stock tires:ftard: ...but yeah i see the point of the clamp it works but our cars need traction badly:thumb:
