"ASC (American Specialty Cars) at the Detroit auto show unveiled the Diamondback Viper — a super-light and super-fast customized Dodge Viper. ASC, which helped the Chrysler Group bring the new Dodge Viper SRT10 coupe to life, also enlisted the help of McLaren Performance Technologies to increase power under the hood. The 615 hp Diamondback Viper features a carbon fiber roof, deck lid, rockers, fascia inserts, body trim and a massive OmniCarbon hood that shows off ten unique trumpeted air intakes, with individual port throttles, peeking through — a McLaren Performance Technologies feature reminiscent of McLaren Can-Am engines of the past. It can hit 60 mph in around 3.5 seconds."

I actually own an ASC/McLaren vehicle... not quite like that Viper though. They've been working together on projects for a long time now. :thumb:

"The ASC Diamondback Dodge Viper — first shown at the Detroit auto show in January — could be put into production, according to AutoWeek. The 615 hp concept featured a carbon fiber roof, deck lid, rockers, fascia inserts, body trim and a massive OmniCarbon hood. Recently, a prototype has been spotted in testing with similar with a similar ventilated hood. According to the magazine, power is up to 650 hp, and 0-60 is accomplished in 3.5 seconds. The model could be offered during the 2017 model year, when Dodge plans to halt production of the regular Viper in preparation for production of the next-generation model."
