Got my new winter 17" wheels! *PICS INSIDE*

I'm in bad need of new tires since my stock Michelins have had it. And even though the snow has cleared here you can bet that its going to come back again with a vengeance. I don't want winter tires. I'd rather have some good all seasons, so I'm opting for the Falken Ziex 512's. I also don't want ugly steel wheels and I originally thought about just putting the Falkens on my stock wheels but I'd rather have the ride a little spiced up during the winter months.

So here they are. Got a great deal on these. Their 17x7 Maxxim Oxygene (40mm offset) in satin black. They look awesome in person. They are copy cats of the 5zigen FN01R-C. Weighed them on the bathroom scale and they came in at 18 lbs. Tires are going on either today or tomorrow. Pics of them on the car hopefully by Tuesday. And I'll most likely have these up for sale around April to make room for my NEW summer 18x8.5 wheels.

Nice choice! I myself couldn't stand having my 15's anymore so I opted for all seasons for my stockers.

225/45/17 Falken Ziex 512's are on. I'm so glad I went to Discount Tire for mounting. Not a nick on any of them unlike my previous experiences with other tire shops. All I'm waiting on is for the black lug nuts to arrive. Should be here tomorrow. I've painted the centercaps in all black as well. ;)

I've just been itching to put these damn things on already!

discount tire is an awesome place to go, so far (knock on wood) i have never had a problem with their service or the products they sell. hell i just ordered some wheels from discount tires direct today. g-games by rays cost me $89 a wheel!! now i'll be able to pop my colla when i step out the car. now i just need new tir'es since the bfg's are to the wear bars. rip bfg's
