My future Baseball prediction!

I predict that the home plate umpire will be replaced buy some sort of a computer. This computer will be the one to call all balls, strikes, and foul tips. There will still be a human ump there but his only job will be to call if someone is possibly safe at home plate.

I think this is a good idea cuz it limits the error factor that some umps have about having there "own" idea of what the strike zone is. What do you think?

i think it would be a good idea....
kind of like the cyclops that calls serves in/out in tennis.

and the ump should be there to call safe/out at home plate like you said, and if the computer messes up, the ump can take over for the rest of the game, or until they get it fixed.

I dont think it will happen, human error is part of the game.
