Just what the title says. Choose the one that matches your dyno numbers.

If your dyno isn't a dynojet, or you are estimating horsepower, please say so in the thread.

 I guess you should be glad the Nova isn't running yet. I would probably be around 1300WHP.

I went with 270-289 even though I made 269.9. I rounded up. :thumb:

i'm not gonna answer yet...

my best dyno was 253 hp/ 325 tq with a massive boost leak, but with my mods i SHOULD be 260-280 :ftard:

i have 2 dyno days coming up, so i'll post the results of the dynos then

edit: if i would have spent the money from my suspension on the motor, i could have 400+ hp, lowering springs and sways  :ftard:

rounding up or guesstimating based on previous dynos or known problems that were fixed is fine, just mention the actual numbers in the thread and why you bumped up.

i'm still gonna wait because the most i've seen on a dyno is 253. I know my car has seen more than that in real life, but it doesn't count if it hasn't happened... plus, 2 dyno days in 2 weeks should be enough to get a real accurate number :thumb:

before we broke the motor down for buildup, we dyno'd 372 on the 50trim on pump. the next day we were like (Alan)"more power?, (me) " yeah, more power", (alan) "nitrous?" (me) "motor buildup higher compression, more boost, water alky inj., then maybe a 125 direct port wet shot of nitrous". So now I have no idea cuz the engine is in parts all over our kitchen wiaint on 18 cams and cam gears, then assembly by a highly respected car guy in the area.

Boost spikes=torque

I made 325 WTQ on a completely stock 03 with nothing but a boost controller.

Mine is 2840 with a 1/4 tank of gas without me in it.

needs a clutch replacement before i can run slicks again... i need to tweak the FPR/ vacuum lines some more, and get my boost control finalized once and for all. think if i can get the EBC to work right in high boost, i'll go that route, then add the d-tec in. it put down around 250 hp on stock lines a couple times, but i REALLY should be 260-280... soon, i hope

actually i get free dyno runs on a mustang dyno anytime i want since i give the owner my username/pass to a forum that has a porn section ( can only get in the porn section if you have been there for 6 months, over 200 posts, and positive reputation)

now go back to making shitty knobs.

*edit* and last time the other pt cruiser that was there put down 368 whp on a MUSTANG dyno.

Fixed it for you. Unless they have a full wind tunnel to simulate real world airflow and cooling, it's half ass. Wideband and track tuning uber alles.

Typically my cars get alot of street tuning via a wideband...
everything is looked at from idle to lowboost/highboost, addressing any stumbling...

then the cars goto the dyno, to check AFR's and also to do some very high boost runs, ensuring the AFR's are safe, and seeing how the car responds to various boost levels, as well as getting a good solid torque curve..

my car sarted out with 420hp at a mere 17psi boost, and the last dyno pull netted 636hp at 35psi, the GT35R pulling hard and strong, and making big power, while the afr's remained safe. The car could have been leaned slightly and make even more power, but, we wanted a safe tune, particularly during high boost from a large snail..

Then my cars see the strip, and often getting some slight tuning there, in quest of the quick et and the monster trap...

the dyno is a essential tool in our little program... essential.

stage2 runs more timing than stage 0,1 or 3, but it also pulls it back more easily... and how do we not pull timing???? with a good tune :thumb:
