We had some runs with some SRTs and a WRX and here is the video. Sorry for the shitty quality in there, my camera is not the best.

Here are the timing charts from Stage 1 car (s1, wga, mbc) and Stage 2 car on HOM and pump gas mode (DAB 3)

Stage 1 + WGA @ 18psi 3rd gear run #1 @ 3500RPM

Stage 1 + WGA @ 18psi 3rd gear run #2 @ 3500RPM

For comparison, here is my PUMP gas timing and HOM Timing charts:

but but but.... stage 2 pulls too much timing..... you make more power with stage 1 because stage 2 pulls too much timing... /sarcasm

great info HT... can you get stage2 without HOM???

WAIT A MINUTE! It looks like the run with HOM off got just as much if not a little more timing advance than with HOM on! WTF?!?!

no... the one without HOM maxed at 32 (look at the left axis numbers) and with HOM ended on 39 degrees... This was on noon and the intake temps rised to 100 degrees.
on my other data logs from HOM with IC Sprayer at cold nights, I've recorded 41 degrees on HOM. That's when from a 2nd gear punch on brand new 225 tires and 18" wheels the car starts spinning the tires.

Looks about normal. The S1 car is probably running a little lean, as it's not really maximizing the available timing. The first run had some detonation at the beginning of the pull and took a while to feed the timing advance back in. The second run looks to have just a bit of mild deto throughout the power band and enough to keep it from maximizing timing. Any chance there's a MAP clamp on the S1 car also? The S2 car looks about perfect.

Less load on the engine should will decrease chance of knock. Try the same test and top out 4th or 5th gear and it wouldn't be as high, but around ~40° appears to be the max timing for a stock S2 with HOM under load at WOT. Stage 3 will run less than that when it's on HOM.

The stage 1 car didn't have a map clamp but I am thinking the stock exhaust is really hurting the car.
