Referral Contest!!!

I don't have any spare turbo kits or HID sets laying around in my garage to give away, but I do have a few of these. They are fun to play with and you can't get these in stores in the US. The contest will run until Dec 9th, to give everyone a fair chance. Top two highest referrals get these. I'm not sure which models, I have but it should look similar to the attached picture. Here's a little review:


We can't afford a real EVO, especially one with a motor swap. But that didn't stop us from buying a tiny replica. It's fast and yellow and measures 60mm bumper-to-bumper. Not good for impressing the chippies but pretty cool for driving across the kitchen floor.
It's called the Bit Char-G and no, we don't know why. What we do know is that we saw them in Japan a couple of years ago while we were hanging out at the Tokyo Auto Salon and since that time they have popped up everywhere.

Being the only micro R/C that is fully customizable, the Bit Char-G shares some of the same attributes of larger more expensive R/C cars. Larger and faster motors, different bodies, tires, suspension, and gears are all readily available to turn these tame critters into carpet eating monsters. With an integrated charging station on the controller itself, two AA batteries and a scant 45-second charge is all you need to get these little guys going. With so many different tuning accessories, the possibilities are limitless.
The first thing we did was upgrade the electric motor from the original 1.0 (10,000rpm) to the 3.8 (38,000rpm). Much more power. Too much maybe, since the short wheelbase and quick-ratio steering puts the EVO on it's side if you turn too sharply.
We visited the JDMtoys.com Website and found a battery upgrade that nearly doubles the battery life, ideas for tracks, and dyno graphs for engine upgrades. It's better than riding your bicycle and making engine noises but worse than having a real car.

Most of the guys here right now have been around for a year or two. We all originally were from srtforums, but we are either tired of the site and/or ekool, or have gotten banned. Thats why you see alot of us as moderators (also, usually the mods/admin are the most active here, theres more regular members than there are mod/admin, they just dont post as often). Srtforums is just heading downhill, even their own members think so. Ekool just runs the site to make money, he doesnt care about what goes on there, as long as it doesnt take away from his money.

I bought them straight from Hong Kong. Tomica is really Tomy over here. You probably saw Microsizers in stores, that's similar to the Bit Char G over there. As you can see, I have a few sets left. I'll see what I can do. :thumb: When they were hot about a year ago, they were going for about $25 shipped on ebay. That's when I picked them up at a good price and made some money on them. The craze kind of died off and I had some left over.

The extra motor and battery are upgrades. The motor is alot faster and the battery gives it a longer run time.

i put the battery in it and i think i used the regular motor. ill have to put the bigger motor in. also does the battery hold a longer charge then? cause i know it only charged for like 45 seconds.

What I'd do is, put it in the charger, let it charge until the light goes out, then take if off the charger and put it back on for another 30-45 seconds.
