Ok so today me and 2 of my friends start doing gauge pods and installing a UEGO and oil psi in his car and while we were
at it he goes to swap out the upstream O2 sensor with a brand new one he just got. Well look at this...

Yes the threads stripped right out of the housing. I guess it was a pressed fit.
So the only thing to do would be to weld a new bung in.
So after 45 minutes and an ice cream sundae break it looked like this.

We welded the new bung in and after that went to reset the PCM cause we were testing the oil psi gauge without it
in before we pulled the O2 housing and due to his alarm the doors locked with his keys in it. :furious3:
With him 45 minutes away from home too...
Luckily the hood was still open and his alarm is odd and we messed with some stuff and they unlocked again.

All and all I'm so sick of doing exhaust work but I'm starting to get pretty good at it.

HA HA HA HA the infamous o2 install. something always goes wrong with it but its always some other random thing not the 02 itself. dont mess with 02 kids, you'll get burned. nice bung weld btw.
