I have been stockpiling parts for the last few weeks and I am at a cross roads.

I am leaning towards running the stick axle and making a 3-link set-up. I think this will give me a nice trade off of ride quality, lateral ability and straight line performance. The 9" is very tough and can handle anything the 2JZ can throw at it. Still though the vette IRS looks tough from the rear view and is definitely a very capable set-up. The rearend will have to be upgraded to a Dana 44 to handle any real power or aggressive driving. Maybe I'll just make bracketry for both and test each of them.

You can use the stock rearened that is coming out of the car because we both know you won't be making enough HP to break it.

The Vette rear end is similar to the rear suspension of the FWD mid-size W-body's (except for that little difference of drive axles and a diff). They both use a fiberglass, transverse mono-leaf spring setup (except for the newer W-body's that switched to a rear strut setup). Not sure why I mentioned all that. Worthless trivia #26 for the day?

whats a W body? Not just the Monte alone, it's the Grand Prix, Regal, Cutlass Supreme, Lumina, Monte Carlo, Century, Intrigue, Impala, and LaCrosse. If you need wheelbase length, powertrain options, trim levels, or anything else let me know. :thumb:

I think you need to ditch the 2JZ and put in a RB26. Faster and Furiouser 3 FTW!!!!
