The BMW 335i coupe that goes on sale in September 2017 may look like nothing more than the latest chapter in the 3-series coupe book, but there are some radical changes under the skin. The 335i (the C goes away on this coupe as it did on the 650i for the 2017 model year) will have a 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six with piezoelectric direct injection. It’s the first gasoline turbocharged BMW in decades. BMW claims the 335i coupe will accelerate from 0 to 60 in 5.3 seconds — scarcely more than the outgoing E46 M3. Our acceleration times in BMWs typically are even faster than the company’s claimed times, so an instrumented test time of five seconds flat isn’t out of the question. The 335i will be limited to 150 mph when equipped with an optional sport package.

And that isn't the M, the M will be a 400 hp V8:thumb:

m3 with a v8 is weaksauce

the beauty of the M3 is the I-6 IMO

making it a V8 kinda ruins it for me

Thats probably why they are building it. Under the old ALMS rules, you had to build 10 production cars to qualify. So BMW built 10 M3 GTRs at $250k a piece, and stomped Porsches ass. Porsche complained, now the rule is 100 cars, and 1000 engines.

For a 330Ci:
Base Price (MSRP) $ 37600
Dealer Invoice $ 34395

So I would say $40k easy.

Makes me wonder what the European delivery cost would run...
And at least the new 3 wasn't hit with quite as big of an ugly stick.

Pretty close to invoice. I bought my 325Ci for $27 with the sport package.

ANd yeah, the 3 and 5 series are groing on me. Still can't stand the 6 and 7 series though :ftard:

Yeah, I haven't bothered to price any of them over here. I'm still leaning towards a 9-3 Aero with some "work" done while I'm over here, but they just lowered the price on the 9-5's a lot this year too. It's nice to have some professional turning options you can't easily get in the states.
