Yes. Please. More info.

I once found a 4 gig memory DRIVE for the psp at circuit city, but didn't have the $200 or so to get it. Went back the next week and it was gone. Haven't seen one like it sence......... And I've only seen a 2 gig memory stick for the psp. Nothing higher than that.

I have to use the 60 gig drive on the PS3 as a home base for mp3's, vids or game saves. Its nice to have a back up like that, but it takes some time to get everything moved over and deleted on the psp. 4 gigs of psp memory would be VERY nice!! My pc has trouble with the current psp software......I can copy files over to the psp, but when I listen to mp3's, they either go corrupt imediatly or go bad after I fast foreward or reverse. I have two different kinds of psp software and it does this on both.

Here's a 4 gig:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820171130

They also have one that's a little faster data transfer for about $12 more.

I use my PSP as an MP3 player quite often, and have never had any problems. I have one that's a 1.5 firmware, and a 2.0 that I just upgraded to 3.0. Still no problems. All I do is drag MP3s over to the PSP/Music folder on the memory stick.

As far as playing games off the stick, you need a bootloader and game ISO files. The bootloader lets you fool the PSP into thinking the game is in the drive, and lets you play it off the stick.

Holy crap thats a good price!! Shit. I'm gonna have to get that now.

Yeah, my PSP is mostly used for mp3s, but I do use it for more on occation. I don't normally play games on it because Sony, in their great brilliance, decided on only ONE joystick! Hard to play GTA running while shooting. Other than that, I love this device! 4 gig of memory will defenatly come in handy.

Thanks a million for the link, dommo_g. That bish is MINE!!!

When I get a chance, I'll send you a folder of stuff, and maybe some game ISOs to test it out. Let me know when you get the stick.
