the hole was perfect... and i modified the pod to sit flush on the dash and look 100% stock. EVERYTHING was good.... untill, i put the dash back in the car and saw the dash wouldnt sit flush because the gauge was hitting on the bottom. :furious3:


i even tired moving the whole gauge & pod back to clear... but no luck. i gave up on it and said F%$& it. :owned:

go to a junk yard and jsut get a 2nd gen dash for cheap... then add the gauge pods in that one.... you made the mistake once, now you know how to fix it :thumb:

AHHH, I had to trim mine here & there to make it fit properly and it still hits on the bottom a little bit. You can kinda tell by this pic that the bottom is right on that little storage space. The little felt area on the pod sticks out on top about a 1/4" as well.

it sounds like all you have to do is roto zip out the top alittle and re-angle it. my years of custom stereo's is comming out :ftard:
