Any of you guys know the sizes of the LED's that are in the defroster button and turbo toys controls?

IIRC they are not at all like the normal bulbs that you can pull out and swap, i beleive they are the permanent solder-in-place kind of LEDs....i could be wrong, but something tells me i've read/seen that somewhere

Yup... I've repaired some but just replaced them with 5mm leds and resistors.. Keeping the stock harness. But the owners don't have them mounted anywhere.
I've also seen 2 kits now come straight from Mopar with bad leds. They are a $30 part too.

that right there would be your first mistake. i used to buy from autolumination ALOT...ALOT ALOT....and their products always served me well and their prices were GREAT....well, in the past year or so i would say, they have practically quadrupled their lineup of products, cut the quality down to about 25% of what it used to be, and jacked the prices thru the roof because they got so popular. the last time i ordered bulbs from them 5 out of 8 burned out on me in probably the first week or two, and this was in same application i had their older bulbs in for over a year....so i KNOW it is a safe application and their OLD bulbs could be used...well, then when i asked them about refunds, all seemed fine, they just asked that i send in my old ones and purchase new ones and the original order would be fully refunded. then when they get the bad ones in, i get a nasty email asking why i sent them bad bulbs back. i saved all my emails about this and showed them that the peopel i talked to assured me it would be ok to send them back and now the new person i was talking to said no way in hell were they refunding bad bulbs cus they couldnt re-sell them. i explained "duh, why do you think i wanted a refund and sent them back in the first place? they were already bad, so you cant re-sell them anyway...WTF?" and they just kept givig me shit. i talked to the main guy, chris i think his name was, and even he started giving me some shit over $50 worth of a refund, so i said fuck it and dropped it and informed him that any time their name EVER came up in conversation i would be sure to re-cap the incident for the people asking....about a week later i got a partial refund...ghey. so if shitty products, horrible custome service, zero warranty/guarantee, and super high prices are your bag, then yea sure, go ahead and order thru them... here, ill even give you their website
www.autolumination.com
of course, if that is NOT your bag, then i suggest you try By Vamp Design instead. it is run by a Las Vegas SRT4 owner and he gives great service, has guarantee, often even sends extra bulbs for free just in case, and has WAY better prices. oh and the fact that he is an SRT owner so you are supporting our community. here is HIS website...if he doesnt have what you need listed on his page, ask him about it and he can custom order anything you need and have it to you pretty quickly.

I feel like a douche now. I already spent 30 dollars and my time and effort installing my Blue LEDs from Autolumination and these LEDs look a lot brighter and I also like the Trip/Odometer light. Also, the defroster light is on of the things i want. The only thing that I thought was KINDA gay, was the time it takes to ship the order out.

the reason it takes longer to ship out is cus his supplier i beleive is overseas directly. but that is also why the end cost is so much lower...so ask yourself, what is better, waiting a couple weeks and saving some good cash for gas money, or having it an a week and not having any gas to drive around and enjoy it...not to mention the other potential headaches you might be faced with in going with AL like i mentioned above....im sure it doesnt happen to everyone, but considering my long relationship with their company this was a killer blow and i will never deal with them ever again because of it.

The pics look like a brighter blue. Are they really brighter or is it just a better pic than most people take?

I've used both www.autolumination.com and http://superbrightleds.com/ for buying LEDs but with what I'm telling you to solder in just go down to either radio shack or if you want to buy a bag of 50 or 100 go on ebay. Most the time on ebay the guy will throw in matching resistors for $1 more.
