Here is novanutcases work of art named "Z066", 2nd gen with a LS7, vette transaxle, C5 IRS and full tube chassis.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Awright...........

Got the Front UCA geometry all set up. Tubular UCA's are for mockup only. We wanted to make sure all the measurements were right on before we started CNCing the UCA's!

Drivers Side UCA Pick up point.

Brycen putting the headers back on! LOL!:D

http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g170/novanutcase/shoppics5-16-07026.jpg

We had to figure out how we were going to get the Transaxle and diff out if they needed to be fixed so we used some Step Joints(Thanks Pauza!)

http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g170/novanutcase/shoppics5-16-07028.jpg

The guys wanted to get car off the jig and on the floor so they've been finish welding a lot of the joints on the frame. Forking it off the Jig!

http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g170/novanutcase/shoppics5-16-07033.jpg

Rodger borrowed some wheels, since I'm a dumba$$ and I can't decide on what wheel I want, and put them on the car! Jake the wonder dog taking it out for it's maiden voyage!

http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g170/novanutcase/shoppics5-16-07034.jpg

Whatever Sean may lack in stature(Yeah! like I'm some basketball player!!) he certainly makes up for in his fab skills. He's 5' 7"! The man is magician and the TIG is his wand! Sean standing next to the car to give you a perspective of ride height!

http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g170/novanutcase/shoppics5-16-07035.jpg

What do you think?

Up next is "poopy" and his 1st gen powered by a SBC and T5 tranny with a truck arm suspension.

A few people were asking for pics of my car, and I cant find any of my old threads....they apparantly got deleted. So here is a synopsis of my build!

Im Rob, from Abbotsford,BC, I moved last year and didnt have much shop space so my chevy II kinda lost momentum. But it was good, I did some major fab work this year on my Rock Crawling buggy and learned sh!t loads. Now I can go back to the car and redo stuff and make it better.

Heres a quick review of my stuff, its a 62, I built a truck arm style rear suspension for it, a custom built MII front clip, redid the 1/4, and countless hours of grinding cutting, blasting and welding!

THe car in its original state

Upside down view of the rockers, exhaust will dump here just ahead of the rear tire.

The wheels are 18" ADR Msports on a ford explorer axle, the rears are 9.5's and the fronts are 8's i think....lol

I see now why the trans tunnel is so high. :yikes: He's got this thing laying on the ground and he's still got 5" of clearance.

Progress has been a little slow, but I picked up the car last weekend. The frame is finished, now it is time to start deciding where to stuff everything. Here are a few current photos.

http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x234/Indy-Nova/DSC02958.jpg

The stance is really sweet, at 5" of ground clearance, the top of the fenders only come up to the middle of my thigh...

& FYI: The Aurora powered car weighs 1500 lbs without doors and glass with everything else you see above. :drooling:

That rekindled my hope of making my car under 2500 lbs since his car is all steel and his engine is 100 lbs heavier.

Z066 has some new sponsors.....

Wilwood
Fikse(wheels)
F.A.S.T.
BF Goodrich

& some updated photos

Dropped her down to ride height(4.5 at the cowl!) to make sure wheel clearance is OK! Rodger wanted to see what it would look like with big rotors so he stuck his truck rotor on the back wheel!

http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g170/novanutcase/shoppics9-25-2017005.jpg

This is how we decided to finish the diff cage! I couldn't bear to cover up the beautiful tube work so we're just going to leave her as is! Just got to finish off the corners!

I've decided to ditch the Nova theme and go for a "pro-sandrail" look. Below are some progress shots:

http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x234/Indy-Nova/DSC03200.jpg

http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x234/Indy-Nova/DSC03203.jpg

Just Kidding!

We removed the body from the frame to clean it up some and paint it, just to keep it protected until I'm finished putting holes in it and am ready to send it for powdercoating.

I should have some new toys for it coming in the mail soon - photos following. Thanks Jason (slow4dr)
