removing the front crosshairs???

Ok ive decided after i get my bigger front mount intercooler im gonna get rid of the crosshairs how did you guys go about it. Did you just take a dremel to the front cross hairs then sand it down with some fine grit sand paper to make it smooth. Then just paint over what you cut off.

I've not done it but that sounds like it would work. I've seen guys that filled the holes and then repainted, looks very finished.

I hate the no crosshairs look, but yea, pretty much you just cut them off with a saw/dremel. If youre a perfectionist, you might get some body colored plastic or vinyl to cover up the empty spot(s) left behind from removing it.
